Second semester studio brought the challenge of designing a new public park experience to a barren site that is connected to the existing Owatonna Public Utilities Building. To bring new life to the empty site and create new site features that the adjacent neighborhoods would enjoy to use, my team designed a restaurant, amphitheater, park support building, and a water retention pond to assist with the low flood plain.
